Caroline Bay Beach Tidal Area - off-leash 1 April-30 September only, between the "Dogs Prohibited" signs; dogs prohibited 1 October-31 March (little blue penguin nesting) and all year from the penguin-friendly areas at either end (Timaru District Council Dog Control Policy).
