Central city - the area bounded by and including Bealey Avenue, Fitzgerald Avenue, Moorhouse Avenue, Hagley Avenue, Oxford Terrace to (and including) the Antigua pedestrian bridge, Cambridge Terrace to Rolleston Avenue, and along Park Terrace to Bealey Avenue Dogs must be on a leash in public places within the central city due to high visitor numbers, to protect health and safety, busy traffic and to protect garden areas .
